First, thank you for your positive comments about my peak oil post for indoor produce growing.
Second, I have a small suggestion for the bacon and egg pie on your website. Have you ever tried
canned bacon? It's available, once again, after a lapse of many years, in the States; I think you can
buy it through the website www.internet-grocer.com. The bacon is pre-cooked, and probably a bit
leaner than packaged bacon. I also used to be able to buy U.S. Military surplus canned bacon by
the case here in the States; it was really something. Each can had 300 slices of high quality bacon,
pre-cooked, lightly smoked, and it was also fairly lean. One case (6 cans) was the same as hundreds
of pounds of uncooked bacon. But, all good things come to an end, and you can't get that here
anymore.
